Funding Support

Undertaking courses and programs are a great way to acquire many valuable and sought after skills. Obtaining funding to do this makes it even better.

If you're thinking about becoming an apprentice or trainee, it’s a great way to acquire many valuable and sought-after skills. Ask your employer if they might receive funds to cover the costs of your training.

If you're about to start a job or have only been there for a short while (called a new entrant) your Skillset training may be funded by the Government.

Funding is available to:
  • Registered training organisations to provide approved vocational training
  • Other eligible groups for the development of training, skills development and other vocational education initiatives.

It is also possible that participants may attract an administration or registration fee.
